“ Autumn's Dawn is an Australian metal duo formed in 2014 by well-known local musicians Tim «Sorrow» Yatras (Austere, Germ) and Matthew «Anguish» Bell (Tjaktjadálvve, Skuggor). The band blends elements of black metal, depressive rock, and atmospheric music in their sound.

The album We Lost Our Hope Along the Way, released five years after its predecessor Dying Ember, continues to develop the band's signature style with its powerful vocals and melancholic atmosphere. However, this album also introduces new elements, drawing inspiration from '90s rock and incorporating intricate, rich arrangements. Thematically, it explores despair, loss, and the fleeting nature of hope, balancing between heaviness and moments of poignant beauty.
